Brick & Mortar

Some assembly required.

A real-time strategy war fought entirely in plastic, under lighting that should not be legal. Seventeen missions, fifty Tower Defense levels, three factions, and a firm understanding that the other side is also made of bricks.

Windows PC. In development. Release date: when it is assembled.

Trailer

Press play. Or do not.

The trailer is being assembled. This is the slot it goes in. No video loads, and nothing phones home, until you click.

What is in the box

Features

Every build step is accounted for. Mostly.

A brick-built city under a low golden sun, skyscrapers throwing long shadows.

Missions, four acts

A campaign that goes from a snowed-in outpost to New York, Nome, Moscow and Mars. It escalates at a pace the characters describe as unreasonable.

A brick warship vanishing in an orange fireball at sea.

The navy shows up

Destroyers, submarines, broadsides and chaff. Water that looks like water. Ships that sink like ships, only with more studs.

A lone tower in the snow at golden hour, with lamp posts and bare trees.

Tower Defense levels

Enemies follow the path. You decide what is standing next to it. Fifty levels, from a quiet field to a very busy square.

A fortified snowfield at night under a deep blue sky.

Towers you can promote

Keep a tower alive through the wave and promote it. It hits harder, and it clearly knows.

A snowy airfield at sunset with vehicles and smoke on the horizon.

Mutators and endless

Mutators change the rules of a level. Endless mode removes the finish line, politely, and keeps sending things.

A white-and-blue lighthouse tower and wrecked vehicles on a sunlit meadow.

Skirmish

Build a base, find the other base, resolve the disagreement. Easy to brutal, against the AI, at your own pace.

A brick ship exploding at sea beside a submarine.

Steam multiplayer

Bring friends. Pick USA, RUSSIA or MARS and out-build them, preferably before they out-build you.

The Achievements screen: a grid of brick-icon achievements such as First Brick and Quick Brick, with progress bars on the locked ones.

Achievements

From First Brick to The Whole Set. Each one has a tiny brick for an icon. We checked.

Footage

Captured in-game

Real clips from the game, running on Unreal Engine 5. Nothing mocked up, nothing borrowed.

The big button

Pick a side

Three factions

Each one plays differently. Each one thinks it is the reasonable one.

A blue-roofed brick factory with a radar dish and yellow cranes.
BLUE

USA

Well funded, well fed and quietly certain the plan is working. Strong in the air, strong in the bank, with a high opinion of itself.

  • Fast builders
  • Anything with a radar dish
A red-hulled brick warship under missile fire.
RED

RUSSIA

Heavy, loud, and built on the principle that more armour is an argument. Big guns, bigger airships, a lot of snow.

  • Armour first
  • Airships. Yes, airships.
A walker machine on a red rocky ridge under a dusty sky.
VIOLET

MARS

The newcomers: walkers, lasers and a long commute. Nobody asked them to pick a side. They picked one anyway.

  • Walkers and lasers
  • Excellent at long range

Tower Defense

Hold the line

50Levels
∞Endless mode

A full Tower Defense game, not a side dish. Choose where things stand, survive the wave, promote the towers that earned it, then turn on a mutator and ask yourself why.

  • Promote towers that survive a wave into better, meaner versions of themselves.
  • Mutators bend the rules of a level. Faster, harder, stranger.
  • Endless keeps going until you do not.
  • Snow, night, navy. Fifty levels of terrain that is allowed to look good.
